hey it's juan soto on the scoble show

It was fun to see our old friend Juan Carlos Soto interviewed on Scoble's video podcast show. The interview is mostly a sales pitch for Solaris and an appeal to startups to come back to the Sun fold, if you like that sort of thing. But I don't care, it's great to see JCS and it's clear he is doing well. He's smart, likeable, and Sun is lucky to have him.

fred has a blog, but it doesn't have a house

fred-water.jpg

So it seems there's this water called Fred. It has a "trendzine", and you can be its friend on myspace. It's got a store called LoveFred. And hey, "Fred is a registered trademark of Fred Brands." I guess it's launching in NYC, wonder if that's pure cold spring water from the IND tunnel seeps. Er, the IND is what you would now call the 7 or something I suppose. Anyway, it's totally whacked trendwater. Ridiculous but vaguely clever, sort of like me. I can't wait to tell Fred.

friend artiste

Our good friend Lesley Underwood is a painter of some promise. She's put a few of her works up at an online gallery service, go take a look.
